A Shepherd tends his Flock

Dear friends and readers of this little blog,

It is with joy, gladness and thanks to Almighty God and Mary, Queen of May, I am able to announce that His Lordship Bishop Hugh Gilbert OSB, Bishop of the diocese of Aberdeen, has made provision for the Traditional Mass to be offered on a regular monthly basis in the city of Aberdeen.

The first Mass will be on Sunday 15th June at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church, Torry, Aberdeen  (http://www.sacredhearttorry.com).  Masses will be offered by priests from The Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer based on the island of Papa Stronsay in the Orkneys Isles.  Thereafter Mass will be offered on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 11:00 am.

We give thanks to Fr Patrick, the parish priest, and his parishioners in making the church available to those who wish to give glory to God in the Forma Extraordinaria.

Please feel free to pass on this news but I ask that this be done in charity and thanksgiving.

Please pray for Bishop Hugh, the parishioners and priest of the Sacred Heart, the community of the F.SS.R and all the faithful who have worked towards this day.

Christ has Risen, alleluia, alleluia
